Recently, MECC has successfully commissioned a self‑used commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system for an overseas enterprise. The project features a total planned capacity of 1150kW/2150kWh, while the Phase I installation reaches 575kW/1075kWh. The system consists of 5 sets of MECC 115kW/215kWh all‑in‑one energy storage cabinets and outdoor grid‑tied/off‑grid electrical cabinets.
Beyond conventional peak‑shaving and energy optimization functions, the solution supports seamless multi‑mode switching between grid‑tied and off‑grid operation for emergency backup power. It provides continuous backup power for 30 minutes with an effective backup capacity of 287.5kWh. Since commissioning, the system has delivered stable and reliable on‑site power supply, effectively reducing the client's manufacturing and operational energy costs, setting a benchmark for integrated digital and low‑carbon development in the industry.

Empowering Core Clients with High‑efficiency Energy Supply

 

The project is designed for the parallel operation of up to 10 outdoor all‑in‑one cabinets, achieving a maximum installed capacity of 1.15MW (115kW × 10). It supports off‑grid parallel connection at multiple grid access points with strong load adaptability. The system can steadily power fire water pumps and various firefighting electrical equipment, serving as a reliable replacement for traditional fire‑safety diesel generators.
By adopting energy storage instead of conventional diesel generators for emergency fire‑protection power supply, the solution delivers multi‑dimensional value. It fully meets emergency backup power requirements, realizes peak‑valley tariff arbitrage for daily power consumption, and achieves virtual transformer capacity expansion, effectively improving the transformer load capacity and maximizing the utilization of existing power infrastructure.
