Become your own mini power station with On-Grid Solar
Help climate change by preventing greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere by using clean, green and renewable energy to power part or all of your home.
How does it work?
Solar panels are installed on your roof and then convert sunlight into DC electricity which is then run through an inverter that converts it from DC to AC just like grid (street) electricity.
Total feeding
All of the electricity generated by your solar power system is diverted to the grid, your account is credited in kilowatt-hours, and then you use electricity from the grid the same way you always have, charging yourself the same way. as usual. Again, you pay the difference to the energy retailer, or if you have credit, the credit remains in your account.
Net feed
Electricity from your solar system is used in your home to power whatever loads you run, if your solar system does not produce enough power, the shortfall is provided by the grid that runs your solar system, if your solar A system also generates a lot electricity, and excess electricity is diverted to the grid, for which your electricity provider pays.
NOTE: Feed rates vary by state, check the government programs page to see what is available in your state.
Benefits of grid connected solar
Environmental
Solar power is a truly renewable energy source, a clean alternative that reduces your reliance on coal-fired power plants, which in turn prevents greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere. A solar system can also help you meet new construction energy efficiency standards for new homes.
Financial
A solar energy system is a financial investment that can reduce your electricity costs by providing a fixed cost of generation for a portion of the electricity demand generated by the system. The cost of electricity increases every year, so the more electricity you can produce at a fixed cost, the better for you.
Installing a solar power system can add value to your home and be a selling point when your home is listed.
