2. System Configuration: Customized Design for European Industrial Scenarios

 

 

 

To fully adapt to Belgium's strict grid connection standards and the diverse energy needs of the industrial park, the 400kW / 1.06MWh industrial and commercial energy storage system adopts a customized integrated design, with core configurations optimized for efficiency, safety and compatibility, perfectly matching the project's multi-scenario application requirements.

 

 

The system is equipped with high-quality lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery modules, with a total energy storage capacity of 1.06MWh and a rated discharge power of 400kW, which can stably output power for a long time to meet the needs of peak shaving, power arbitrage, equivalent capacity expansion and backup power supply. It integrates a high-efficiency PCS (Power Conversion System) with an efficiency of up to 98.2%, ensuring minimal energy loss during charging and discharging. Meanwhile, the system is equipped with MECC's self-developed EMS (Energy Management System), which can realize real-time monitoring of grid status, load changes and electricity prices, and intelligently adjust the charging and discharging strategy. In addition, the system adopts a cabinet-type integrated structure, which is compact in design, easy to install and maintain, and meets European industrial safety and fire protection standards, ensuring stable operation in the industrial park's complex environment.

 

 

 

 

 

3. Energy Storage Participates in Power Trading: Making Energy a New Source of Revenue

 

 

 

The electricity market price in Belgium fluctuates significantly, and users can participate in a variety of trading mechanisms, in which energy storage systems play a key role. The system actively charges when electricity prices are low and discharges during peak electricity price periods, achieving arbitrage income through real-time scheduling.

The energy storage system plays a key role in this scenario.

When the park load increases rapidly in a short period of time, the energy storage system will immediately output the required power to replace part of the instantaneous load from the grid, forming an "equivalent capacity expansion" effect. Without upgrading the transformer, the enterprise has obtained higher power consumption flexibility, and the scheduling of production activities has thus become more flexible.
